Well I guess I shouldn't say poo rain cause that means I don't have to water anything. Rain is just so depressing when you have to walk in it. It's fine when you have a blanket, cup of tea, good book and are inside. This weekend is shaping up to be busy busy. I had to make an appointment for my oil change tomorrow morning, plus the door frame installer is coming back out to explain to us why we need to replace an entry door we don't want to replace. Can we say rip off? Then all afternoon and night I have the fundraiser for Everyman. The plus is it'll run smoother then last year and is 40's themed, minus - we're working not playing. But we get Monday off because of it, which I well desperately need to do errands. Sunday will be spent cleaning and taking Scott to the airport. Monday night some of the girls from work are attempting to go to Bahama Breeze in Towson so I think I may join for that. Depends on how far I get with all my weekend catch up, what with losing all of Saturday. Should be doable though. We have an added matinée this morning, the fates only know why, stupid left over from the spring break week show not being used or something. It's a mix of old cranky seniors and high school students milling about in front of my door. Ewww...

Sunday was a lovely day added onto this lovely weekend. Good sunshine and good company. Scott and I spent the evening in Downtown Baltimore with Shaun, Jen, Misha, Josh, Chris, Skyler and Russell. Good size group for an outing in the city. We met at Shaun's around 4 PM and proceeded to walk to the Inner Harbor. The stroll allowed for some catch up time with Jen who we had not seen since Josh and Michelle's wedding. Our first stop was at La Tusca to try and have some Spanish Tapas for dinner. We were put on a 40 minute wait that placed us at the bar. Bartender was HORRIBLE; which caused us to leave said location and take a water taxi ride to Fells Point. There we hooked up with Josh & Michelle and got some eats from Shucker's. Service was pretty poor there too. We didn't have a lot of luck in those areas. After walking back to Shaun's, Scott and I headed for home around 11 PM. By the time me got in I was beat, what with the weekend, walk and the sun. I konked out almost immediately but Scott the little trouper that he was put away the dishes, laundry and packed up the mess in the basement. Bless his soul, I love it when he's cute like that. I need to run to the Safeway and grab Mandy's Birthday cake. One of my new jobs seems to be that when someone has the birthday I must go gather the fatty gooie-ness.

I couldn't resist so I went ahead and took some pics of the garden as is. It should be better after things root and grow but I know people were curious now. Plus it's an other nice day and pictures are fun!

My lips are sunburnt, as well as random patches on my arms. Yes, patches. How I got just patches I don't know. I was up at 7 AM this morning because of the bath fitter re-install. Good news is the guy got it done in one day and it looks like the water flowing issue may be solved now.
We can't officialy use it and find out until Monday, but a test drive with a cup of water shows it should work out! Since I was up so early and this day was so gorgeous, I started the gardening. Needless to say working outside in 75 degree weather, with not a cloud in the sky, from 7 AM to 2 PM has left me burnt in odd ways. I'm dumb for not using the sunscreen because it always happens...learn your lesson Sarah before you get sun poisoning. Good news is I got a lot done. I'll have to take some pictures when some of the blooms open more but here is the list of accomplishments: 1. Flower beds dug out, soiled, mulched and lined with black iron cast runners 2. Trellis with Forget Me Not’s & Wildflowers planted at base 3. Butterfly Flowers & Heather bushes in corner of yard with Hanging Lotus Lantern 4. Mums, potted plants and hanging baskets in place 5. Garden with White Grapes, Sunflower Seeds, Blueberries, Raspberries, Tomatoes & Snow Peas - check! 6. Front yard planted Mums, Cali Lilies & Annuals Scott helped too. Had he not gotten more soil and flower bed runners I would have had to stop mid project. Yay for useful boys. I'll tell you though; today is one of those days where you wish you had your bathtub. Overall, today was much better then yesterday. Yesterday’s crappiness continued when my necklace and ring finally came in, and you know what, I'm disappointed. The brass isn't very strong and the items are smaller than their measured description. I have to give her props for uniqueness though. I don't know is it just me?
I couldn't get the ring to show up on camera to save my life. Stupid camera of evil. We also got a notice from Allstate that our rates are increasing, with no explanation. Scott is fed up with them anyway, so we're switching. Anyone got an opinion on State Farm, because that's where we're looking. I'm off to study some Japanese and find some water. *Onnanohito wa mizu o nonde imasu* Starting to feel a little dehydrated from all the sunshine.

You know how we all have those craptastic days? Well this would be one of them. It's 2:15pm and it's the first real time I've stopped all day. Dont' get me wrong, I'm glad to have something to do but my job has two levels. Nothingness and high octane kick your butt. Guess which one I got today! This morning went from run in, drop off your stuff, head to your first meeting. Then do your list of things from yesterday's meeting and this morning's meeting before your bosses can count to 10. Yes, unlike most people, I get two bosses, cause I work for the founder/artistic director and the managing director of the theatre. After I finished the RFI to submit to contractors for our new building, setting up development meetings, responding to emails and phone, researching canidates, typing the building list, then I finally got to take lunch. Can I just say why is it also, always beautiful out when the work day sucks? Also my mom is pouty with me cause she can't come over tonight since Scott and I are busy and she read something into an email that wasn't there. So that makes the day! Anyway this weekend can't get here any faster for me! Sunday will now include hanging out with Scott, Shaun, Jen, maybe Marc, Skyler and Chris. More is always merrier so that will be fun. Poor Marc cracked his windshield this morning so he needs a break too it seems. Tuesday we also have plans to head to Sklyer's dinner gathering that we hear so much about. Should be fun too.
