A mind is a terrible thing to waste.

I survived!  And now I have a butt load of laundry to do.  The party was pretty chill, some people even had to back out at the last minute or were no shows.  But the small group of us that did hang out all had fun and I'm very appreciative that Tess, Jess, Michele B. and Michelle D. were there!  Thanks girls!

We all ate dinner at Kobe restaurant in White Marsh.  After stuffing ourselves silly we enjoyed a walk through the Avenue until are tummies settled.  Then Bayou Café for drinks and shots.  That was were I was presented with a myriad of wedding night and honeymoon/newlywed gifts.  Some of which I've never used and may frighten me slightly.  I think it's funny that even when you are with a group of girls, drinking out of penis straws, wearing a shiny tiara that says bachlorette, strands of beads and a shiny shirt that spells BRIDE, people still come to you and ask, "Is it your birthday or something?"...

Anyway, after drinks we walked with Michele B to Starbucks so she could get coffee for the ride home.  Then those of us left headed to Red Brick Station for one more round of shots and dessert.  Like I said, pretty chill as far as a bachelorette parties go, but very good company and lots of good conversation.  Fun for all and I wish some of the people that couldn't make it would have come.  I think they would have had a lot of fun and we all would have bonded some more.  Yes my cousins, I'm talking to all of you.

I need to find time to go to the gym today.  I don't think it'll happen though.  I ate and drank calories last night that will not help me during wedding week.  Makes me feel slightly gross.

I was stupid and went out for Jenny R.'s birthday last night.  Didn't stay out late but it did cause me to lose some sleep I could have used for tonight.  Tonight is my bachelorette party!  Scott is at his bachelor party right now and should be back tomorrow.

I have no idea what is in store for me tonight.  I'm excited but also nervous.  All I know is there is dinner and then something else followed by something else...right.  I am being cheesy and bought myself a bride tank from Victoria Secret.  I figure I can use it tonight, for the rehearsal and once on the honeymoon and it will have paid for itself in use.  Plus I can always use it as a sleep tank from then on.

As long as there is no puking tonight or naked men I will be happy.  Gotta go because Michelle will be here any minute to pick me up!

And so the day can manage to get worse.  At the end of our staff meeting our managers dropped the bomb.  "So hey everybody since we are currently looking for our entire development staff we figured we would hire 3 instead of 2 this time.  Guess what that means?  We need to move everyone's office's again!"

They proposed that our founder move into the old Development office by himself, I move into the Managing Director's office with her (which holds 3-5 people on any given day for campaign meetings but can really only accommodate 2 people at a time), then Development move into the place I'm at now (which was also where the founder was.)  And for random fun let's move Marketing and flip it with Business Management.  Even though we really don't have to.

Oh and to top this craptastic cherry off, they bought new computers and have people coming in tomorrow to switch all the files over.  Guess who will get stuck tagging along with them...I bet that'd be me.  Why they had this scheduled before they want to move everything beats me.  Oh, and they want to move everyone next week.

Yay for stupidity and really crappy planning!

You know I was having an ok day today.  I had finished Harry Potter last night.  My morning went smoothly at work despite the pile I'm digging through.  We found a CD player to borrow for the rehearsal.

Then Scott called at 1:30pm.  He told me the door that was going to be installed today, our front and storm door, is not.  Why?  Because Lowes, which is a whore of a store, had yet again received a damaged door.  This order was placed in April, it is now almost August.  This is the 2nd, I repeat,  2nd damaged door and thus the 2nd day Scott missed work for nothing.

The only up side to this is they are refunding all of our money and willing to install the door anyway.  Now refunding our money, is that just for the door or for the labor too.  The labor cost more then the door.  The down side is they have wasted our time, pissed us off and god only knows when we will actually get the damn door.

I will never use Lowes again, for anything.

Michelle just sent me pictures from the bridal shower.  I posted them on my facebook site.  washcoll.facebook.com/profile.php . If you don't have a facebook account you can comment me and when I have time I'll post them.

I'm starting to get very excited about the wedding and the honeymoon!  Here is where we will be staying in Cancun. www.palaceresorts.com/Resorts/SunPalace/Index.asp

They put up some more pictures since it was remodeled.  Looks nice!
