Happy Holidays to everyone!  For those of you that celebrate tomorrow, Merry Xmas!  I most likely won't be posting in the next few days so I say it now!  I barely have time with everything going on.  Here is a brief catch up to my life over the past few days.

Friday night Scott and I saw Sweeney Todd the movie.  I enjoyed seeing it but it did not live up to my expectations.  Being a theatre person and also being familiar with the Broadway performances it needed alto to impress me with.  The singing was ok for the fact that no one in the cast required to sing had any musical background.  Alas though, it is a musical and that stuff needs to be tight.  Using paint like blood in mass abundance actually took away from realism or seriousness of the hack slash parts.  This was also not one of Depp's or Carter's stronger performances.  And the new actors they found to play the three children annoyed the hell out of me.

Saturday night was the ASR Dinner at Linwoods.  We had a private room the 10 of us with our own server.  It was nice because we could talk to each other all spread out around this large table.  The food was great, we all ate way too much.  Everyone had appetizers, a second course, main dish and dessert.  Scott wants to go back one night, just the two of us, and check out the regular dining room.

Sunday was the party at our house for family.  Both sides said they enjoyed themselves.  There was plenty of food and drink.  Way too many cookies might I add.  It's very entertaining to watch when your adult family members play the Wii.  We had aunts, uncles, parents and grandparents down there.  Wii really did make their games for all ages.  I'm a little disappointed in myself for not thinking to video tape them.  The only downfall to the evening was when Oberon managed to get up into the basement ceiling again.  Sometimes I hate that cat.

Today I finished returning the house back to it's normal state.  Scott needs to go into the office at one point and we plan to work some fat off at the gym.  Tis the season for calories.  Other then that I look forward to some recoup time before tomorrow.  We have dinner plans that night and then Grandpop Bonner's birthday dinner the following day.

Happy Holidays again to all.  If I don't see some of you before the New Year, have a safe and happy evening then as well!
