Poor Obie.  I took him to Scott's dad's yesterday since he still wasn't feeling better.  Jerry, Scott's dad, is a vet which is good to have in the family; not so good when he lives in PA.  So needless to say I did not go to work yesterday.  We took Oberon in after several days of vomiting and diarrhea (I know lovely) because he started exhibiting very odd behavior.  Monday night he was wandering around the house meowing and looking for places to hide.  Then he randomly opened our dresser drawer and peed all over our clothes.  Well mostly my clothes anyway.  Thanks Oberon, I love you too.

So that was the last straw and I called out of work that night.  Tuesday I got up and took him to PA where he got x-rays, blood drawn and injections.  Luckily he has no intestinal blockage, no kidney disease, no renal failure.  He just had some Gastrointestinalritous.  Basically that means some air built in the intestine that was having a hard time getting out on it's own.  So Jerry gave us some syrup drops (no I can't spell it) to give Oberon three times a day and he told us to put him on baby food and boiled chicken.  He does seem to be doing remarkably better, no pooies and no more vomiting.  I think by the end of the week he should be a-ok.

On a different note, since the weather is warmer I tried on some of my bathing suits last night.  Man was that depressing.  I'm not saying I'm fat because I know I'm not, but when you are in swim wear everything shows.  My butt and my tummy need some massive, and I mean massive toning.  So it will be working out of some sort everyday for me, at least until the summer is over.  It'll help for the wedding anyway.

Scott and I booked our NY trip which is at the end of next week.  We are taking the train down and back and staying 2 nights.  We will be staying at the Inter-Continental Barclay Hotel.  It's more of the old school charm.  I'll tell you though, NY hotels are like the ones in Miami, none are what we call cheap around here.  It will be worth it though.  We'll visit McCaul, see a show, do some site seeing and enjoy some good meals.  I'm excited!

Update: Dude!  Super mega ant problem in the kitchen here at work.  It almost looks like they belong there more then we do!  Also, super crazy high guy stumbling around on the street one up from here.  So not cool.
