I wanted to be good today and bike to the library.  It's very close to us so it appeared do-able.  I did learn some lessons for next time though:

  1. Go closer to closing time.  I went at 10 am when they open and the sun almost killed me.
  2. Bring a hand towel.  In the summer you will sweat no matter when you go.
  3. Go find a back pack.  I thought I had one but alas no.  Using a tote bag proved difficult.
  4. There is a hill, a very big hill.  You can't do anything about it so stop whining when you see it.
  5. Avoid walkers, especially those with kids, because no matter how much warning you provide that you are coming up on their left and please move over to your right they won't manage to hear you until you almost crush them.
